FrontRunners: Smaller than Life

Mini versions of the Ferrari 375 Plus and Jaguar D-Type are among the 17 one-to-eight-scale model cars in the Ralph Lauren Fine Model Cars collection (212.606.2100). Each of the $9,500 models is based on a car in Lauren’s collection and is finished by hand. The master model for each car required at least 3,000 hours to complete, and subsequent models took a minimum of 350 hours to build.
