Napa Valley Celebrates Art and Wine in April

Napa Valley Arts in April kicks off on April 1 with a month long series of events, exhibitions, installations, and classes at 30 wineries spanning from Calistoga to Los Carneros. Each winery will host its own unique repertoire of exhibits and events, including a collection of Ansel Adams’ photography at Mumm Napa, and a pairing dinner with Appellation St. Helena wines, prepared by the area’s best restaurants (from $100). The festival concludes on April 28 with a show revealing the private art collection of Donald Hess, owner of Hess Family Estates in Napa, which includes artwork by more than 60 modern and contemporary artists, followed by a wine reception and dinner ($100) to benefit the Napa Valley Arts Council.
