FrontRunners: Striking Cars and Chords

Collectibles ranging from a 1912 Oldsmobile Limited Tourabout to antique mechanical musical instruments will be up for bid February 24 and 25 at RM Auctions’ Milhous Collection sale (www.rmauctions.com). The auction, conducted in association with Sotheby’s, will take place at the Milhous Museum in Boca Raton, Fla. In addition to cars and instruments, the sale will include the Americana, antique furniture, clocks, decorative arts, firearms, and slot machines that brothers Bob and Paul Milhous acquired over the past five decades. Among the mechanical-instrument lots is a Ruth Style 38-B fair organ valued at $1 million or more. The Tourabout has an estimated value of about $1.5 million.
