Multipassenger Vehicle: Becker JetVan

At first glance, the Becker JetVan is as unremarkable as your run-of-the-mill delivery truck, but one serious look into its interior cabin reveals the extraordinary degree of custom tailoring that is hidden beneath the vehicle’s Mercedes-Benz Sprinter shell. Not a single piece of the JetVan’s finished rear-compartment cabin is carried over from the original car. Instead, Becker Automotive Design begins each project from the ground up. The JetVan is available in six different configurations that range in price from $200,000 to $400,000. The interiors feel more like private jet cabins than they do the insides of ground transportation: Maybach-like leather seats and privacy shields provide the perfect setting for passengers to sit back and enjoy the ride. The JetVan also features state-of-the-art electronics, including a mobile Wi-Fi network, a full-size LCD screen for television or videoconferencing, and surround-sound audio speakers.
