Flexjet Partners with Qatar Airways

Flexjet by Bombardier, which is operated by U.S. air carrier Jet Solutions, has teamed up with commercial airline Qatar Airways. The partnership grants Flexjet’s fractional-share owners gold-member status at Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club, which provides a year of access to Qatar’s lounge facilities in various airports around the world, as well as priority check-in for Qatar Airways commercial flights.

Through the partnership, Flexjet’s fractional owners are also serviced by Qatar Airways’ private flight program, Qatar Executive, when travelng privately in the Middle East. Qatar Executive’s charter fleet includes Bombardier’s ultralong-range Global 5000 and Global Express XRS jets. The partnership with Qatar Airways follows Flexjet’s 2010 alliance with Korean Air, which marked the first alliance between a fractional-share provider and a commercial airline. (www.flexjet.com)
