Best Of The Best 2006: Continental Shift

The folks at Fairline apparently have decided that if they cannot beat them, they should join them. As the popularity of faster, sexier, and less expensive boats from Italy continues to grow, the British builder presents its Fairline Squadron 66, a fiberglass boat with bold lines, a top speed of 40 mph, and a price of about $3.1 million.  Fairline is, as the British say, spot-on with this dazzling design, which includes leather floor tiles, a Bose audio system, an island galley, gleaming cherry joinery, and a full-beam master suite with portrait windows.
