Best Of The Best 2006: High Style

  • Marilyn M. Mower

The 182-foot Twizzle is a thoroughly modern De Vries–built Feadship with all the latest toys and a sundeck Jacuzzi. The contemporary theme continues unfettered from the boat’s angular profile to its interior design by the well-known firm Redman Whiteley Dixon and subtly glamorous decoration by London’s Todhunter Earle. The interior features spare use of walnut to complement natural textured fabrics and wall coverings, along with pieces of jazz-age furniture. The two outdoor dining areas and the formal dining room on the main deck each seat as many as 10 guests. Four ample guest staterooms are aft on the lower deck, and the oversize owner’s suite, featuring his and her baths, is situated forward on the main deck.
