Famed grappa producer Nonino produces Nonino ÙE La Riserva dei Cent’Anni by fermenting and distilling whole grape clusters instead of pomace. Earthy and spicy, with flavors of toasty oak and ripe fruit and notes of grass, pepper, caramel, and vanilla, this copper-colored distillate has vibrant aromas and an extraordinarily long finish. By employing the same stills that he uses to make grappa, the master distiller can control and retain the quality of the aroma and taste present in the original grapes. Comprising grapes of several different varieties, La Riserva dei Cent’Anni is aged 12 years before bottling. Nonino also makes stunning single-variety versions of ÙE.
