Charter-ready Belena

  • Rachel Christopher

Scheduled to launch in May, the 170-foot motor yacht Belena comes from the drawing board of Italy-based design firm Giorgio Vafiadis & Associates. Vafiadis created the steel-and-aluminum yacht for Greek yacht builder Golden Yachts. With an eye toward charter, Vafiadis gave Belena seven staterooms for up to 14 guests and cabins for 11 crew. In addition to the master suite, Vafiadis placed one twin cabin on the main deck and one spacious VIP on the upper deck. Jacuzzi tubs and separate showers grace both the master and the upper decks. Two additional VIP rooms are located on the lower deck, along with a couple of twin cabins. Belena’s three decks offer guests plenty of outdoor space, including the hot tub area on the upper deck and a seating area at the bow. Twin Caterpillar engines give Belena a top speed of 19 knots and a cruise speed of 16. (+39.335.3200234, vafiadis@interin.it; +30.210.9673203, www.goldenyachts.gr)
