FrontRunners: Chat Room

With its Custom Line 124' (www.customline-yacht.com)—124-foot semicustom yachts expected to debut next spring—the Italian shipyard Ferretti aims to offer a sense of community and privacy. The vessels will be available in two configurations, which both feature a 540-square-foot lower-deck salon with an open floor plan that includes seating areas well suited for cultivating conservation. During lulls in discussion, you and your passengers can comment on the uninterrupted views afforded by the floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows that enclose the deck. If more than two becomes a crowd, you can retreat to the spacious owner’s suite, which has an office space and a double shower, or to one of the four guest cabins, each of which has a private bath.
