FrontRunners: Two Smoking Barrels

  • Cigarette Racing Team 38' Top Gun 90+ MPH
  • Top Gun
  • Huntress

The Cigarette Racing Team has launched two new powerboats: the 42' Huntress and 38' Top Gun 90+ MPH (www.cigaretteracing.com). The former, an all-new center-console design, combines Cigarette’s lightning-fast performance with such creature comforts as a flat-screen-equipped lounge, a two-person berth, and a mini galley. While it might lack the accommodations of the Huntress, the 38' Top Gun 90+ MPH pushes Cigarette’s performance envelope. Equipped with twin 565 hp inboard engines from Mercury Racing, the 90+ MPH boasts top speeds that approach triple digits. The Huntress is priced from $690,000 to $990,000, depending on the four- or five-engine configuration and other upgrades; the 90+ MPH is priced from $366,000.
