Jewel in Gulf Craft’s Crown

  • Danielle Cutler

Gulf Craft, the Dubai-based builder, has unveiled the Majesty 135, the crown jewel of its fleet. As the yard’s largest yacht to date, clocking in at 135 feet and with an almost 27-foot beam, this trideck superyacht accommodates 10 guests in a large owner’s stateroom and four guest staterooms, all with en suite bathrooms. Seven crew housed in six crew cabins plus a captain’s cabin ensure a relaxing experience for all of those on board.

Italian firm YD Design and the U.K.’s BMT Engineering took care of naval architecture in conjunction with Gulf Craft, which handled exterior styling. CDB Yacht Design created Hull No. One’s interior design, which features a bamboo theme matched to gold fittings and marble and granite finishes throughout. Ample outdoor space beckons, with a large sundeck on the flybridge level featuring a partially shaded spa pool and lounge chairs for sunning, a shaded outdoor space on the upper deck with varied conversation areas, and on the aft deck an alfresco dining area. A water-level beach deck provides easy swim and water-sports access, while an elevator facilitates movement throughout the decks. The yacht’s TRAC 540 stabilizers provide a smooth ride. Two MTU 12V 4000 engines propel the Majesty 135 to a top speed of 23 knots, and give the vessel a 2,500 nm range while cruising at 12 knots. (www.gulfcraftinc.com, www.majesty-yachts.com)
