Nautor’s Swan 60

Nautor’s Swan sailboats combine high performance—the 44-year-old Finnish builder’s yachts frequently claim top spots in elite regattas—with high style and comfort. The company’s new Nautor’s Swan 60 (401.846.1090, www.nautorswan.com), which started being delivered last July, is a 62-foot performance sailboat that feels almost like a luxury motor yacht on the inside. “[The Swan 60] doesn’t have the cavelike appearance of traditional sailboats,” says Keith Yeoman, who represents the brand in the United States, of the below-deck cabin’s design. “It’s minimalist, but also highly functional for a cruising sailor.”

Furthering the minimalist theme, the Swan 60 incorporates discreet locker space to keep equipment out of the way and out of view. The boat, which starts at just under $3 million, also employs such forward-thinking sailing technologies as localized electrical systems that help minimize workload and maximize enjoyment.
