Domenico Vacca Makes the iPad More Fashionable

Jill Newman

Since the iPad has become an essential electronic tool for many businesspeople, designer Domenico Vacca has created a stylish alligator iPad case available in 25 vibrant shades. “We have received many requests for an exotic skin case for iPads,” says Vacca, whose clients range from Hollywood celebrities such as Jeremy Piven to executives. “The iPad is in the hands of our customers 24/7—in meetings, when they travel, when they do presentations—and they were not excited about carrying around a plastic case.”

The first 20 Italian-made cases, $3,900, have sold out, and more are being made. In addition to stock items, the cases are available by custom order in any of the 25 colors. (212.759.6333, domenicovacca@aol.com)
