Best of the Best 2012: Men's Fashion: Newcomer: Alessandro Sartori for Berluti

The revered Parisian footwear brand Berluti, established in 1895, has transformed into a full-fledged men’s luxury brand with its first show-stopping ready-to-wear collection. The fall 2012 collection is by Alessandro Sartori, the former Z Zegna designer, and it is made in the same spirit as the company’s handcrafted footwear. Berluti used the most luxurious materials, such as eight-ply cashmere for its suits, fur trim for its jackets, and leather buttonholes. This leather biker jacket (price upon request) is hand-painted.
