Fashion Flash: Allegri’s Jersey Peacoat

Allegri, known for its innovative performance outerwear fabrics, is at it again with a new jacket for fall: the Milano jersey peacoat, a two-ply wool jersey with a tight knit construction that gives the coat the feel of a heavy sweater with the silhouette of a tailored blazer ($795). The new jacket is not only warm, it is also water-resistant, featuring a treatment that uses a thin layer of Teflon coating to repel water and stains, but which does not impact the fabric’s natural look, feel, or finish.
