Ferrari Unveils a Stylish Golf Collection

  • Matthew Phenix

When the driver of a $295,000, 208 mph Ferrari FF rolls into the country club, he nevertheless might unload a set of Lamborghini clubs and wear Porsche golf shoes and a Mercedes-Benz golf shirt, because up until now his car brand wasn’t in the golf game. But now, the vaunted sports car maker has teamed with Cobra Puma Golf to deliver a new line of golf gear—equipment, apparel, accessories, and footwear—that embodies the style, craftsmanship, and extraordinary engineering that defines every road and racing car that wears the prancing horse emblem.

The centerpiece of the Ferrari Golf Collection is a redheaded driver ($2,000) that merges the expertise of Cobra Puma’s club engineers and Ferrari’s materials and aerodynamics engineers. It features an aerodynamically optimized crown and sole of carbon fiber composite, a face and chassis of titanium alloy, and internal weights of tungsten for supreme balance. The head meets a high-performance Fujikura Motore Speeder shaft with a hand-stitched leather grip.

The collection also includes a full array of clothing and accessories, including shoes ($600), polo shirts ($120), and jackets ($250). Naturally, there’s also a Ferrari bag ($2,400) crafted of the same supple, aromatic Poltrona Frau hide that lines the cockpit of Ferrari’s FF. (ferrarigolfcollection.com)
