FrontRunners: Pedal Pushers

British shoemaker John Lobb has collaborated with compatriot Aston Martin to create Winner Sport (www.johnlobb.com), a lightweight driving shoe that will be available in September. Made of calfskin and lined with sheepskin for a glove-like feel, the shoe also features extra-soft padding around the ankle and a bonded rubber sole that wraps around the heel. Eyelet holes along the side of the shoe provide ventilation and recall the leather wrap on the steering wheel of an Aston Martin. The footwear is priced at $970 and is available in eight colors.
