The San Francisco–based men’s luxury retailer formerly known as On the Fly has opened a new 21,000-square-foot store and private club in the historic Bank of Italy building in San Francisco under the new name Wingtip. The opulent two-story retail space—which offers collections by Dunhill, Michael Toschi, Oxxford Clothes, Alfred Sargent, and more—is decorated with antique furnishings and game tables to complement the architectural details of the century-old building. Its original bank vaults have been repurposed to house an accessories alcove with rare vintage timepieces and a bespoke shop where men can order custom suits, shirts, hats, and more. Each client’s measurements, fabric swatches, and order history are stored in the vaults’ safe-deposit boxes.

The 12,000-square-foot two-level penthouse is home to the Wingtip private club, which has a restaurant, a bar, a wine-tasting room with an 1,800-bottle cellar, a billiards room, a barber shop, and a business center; a golf simulator and a rooftop terrace will open later this year . The club also has a chauffeured house car—a 2013 Audi S8—available to members and their guests. (415.765.0993, www.wingtip.com)
