Several world-famous chefs will convene to host a series of dinners at this year’s Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival being held from December 7 to 11 at the city’s hot spots, including the Breakers resort, the Four Seasons Palm Beach, and others. Chef Daniel Boulud will host the opening reception at his Café Boulud Palm Beach restaurant ($100 per person). Events include a pig roast–style dinner ($125 per person), which will offer an assortment of slow-roasted meats at Pistache French Bistro on the waterfront. Nostalgic New Yorkers will relish An Evening with Le Cirque: A Tribute to Sirio, which will feature chef Boulud, David Burke, Marc Murphy, and Jacques Torres, along with Le Cirque chef Olivier Reginensi, for a dinner re-creating the dining experience at Le Cirque, in a tribute to owner Sirio Maccioni ($250 per person). Another meal will be held at a local organic farm ($200 per person) where James Beard Award–winners Mike Lata and Marc Vetri, among others, will create a meal with ingredients from the farm. The festival will conclude with its annual grand finale tasting event ($125 per person), which showcases winemakers, local artisanal food-makers, and nearly 30 chefs and restaurants from Miami, Palm Beach, New York, New Orleans, and more; followed by the Annual Grand Chef Throwdown, in which the festival’s chefs will compete in a cooking challenge for a $10,000 prize.
