Simply Irresistible Meals at the Four Seasons’ Santa Barbara

Customizable dining allows foodies freedom to explore their palates, learn about food and wine, and more. Now, with the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara’s new Simply Irresistible dining experiences, guests have three opportunities to do just that.

With the Moveable Feast ($150 for two), a gourmet picnic prepared by the Four Seasons culinary team, guests can bring a custom meal on any day trip. The picnic includes a bottle of wine of their preferred varietal and two engraved wine glasses to keep. Those who want to make a day of dining might choose the Farmers’ Market to Fork ($400 for two), which begins with a trip to the local farmers’ market accompanied by the resort’s executive chef. There, guests learn tips on buying organic produce and meats and select ingredients for a private lunch menu; they then join the chef for a cooking class using the ingredients they’ve acquired. Afterward, they’ll enjoy their custom four-course lunch with wine pairings at the resort’s oceanfront restaurant, Bella Vista.

Guests who choose Romance on the Riviera ($500 for two) provide their dinner menu, wine, music, and other preferences before they arrive. Once they’ve settled in at the resort, a private server delivers Champagne to their room and drives them to the Coral Casino. There, they are greeted by the executive chef, have a sunset toast overlooking the ocean, and meet the culinary team that will prepare their custom four-course dinner. They are served their meal by candlelight in a private cabana overlooking the ocean. (805.565.8232, www.fourseasons.com/santabarbara)
