    Alec Bradley Medalist
Enthusiasts who pride themselves on their ability to identify cigars’ birthplaces by taste alone will be stumped by the new Alec Bradley Medalist. The Medalist, the latest release from the Dania, Fla.–based Alec Bradley Cigar Co., incorporates five tobaccos of disparate lineages: a wrapper from Costa Rica, a binder from Connecticut, two fillers from Nicaragua, and one filler from Honduras. The wrapper and binder work together to create a complex, aged flavor that floats on the powerful undercurrent of the Central American fillers. The stout, 6 x 54 Gordo produces the most memorable taste in the Medalist line. ($5.75 each) www.alecbradley.com
