With its redesigned, 90-degree V-twin engine, the new Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V (www?.motoguzzi-us.com) can now exploit the superior handling that the Griso line is known for. The $14,290 bike’s 1,151 cc, air- and oil-cooled Quattrovalvole (four-valve) engine, which includes 563 new components, generates 110 hp at 7,500 rpm and a healthy 80 ft lbs of low-end punch. Though it revamped the engine, Moto Guzzi wisely did not alter the Griso’s elegant and exposed tubular steel frame. The company did, however, modify the bike’s handlebars and seat to improve comfort at speed.
