FrontRunners: Beyond Standard Fair

  • Sheila Gibson Stoodley

Serious collectors once had only two options when they wanted to shop for art and antiques: attend auctions or visit galleries. However, a third option, the international fair, has been gaining favor. Recognizing the obvious appeal of these events where the world’s foremost dealers gather at a single venue, Art World Excursions (714.473.0285) offers trips to the Paris Biennale, TEFAF Maastricht, and other important fairs. The company will arrange accommodations, jet service, and VIP access to a fair. It can also plan private parties and exclusive viewings of museum exhibits.
