The private dining rooms at Gordon Ramsay at the London West Hollywood (www.gordonramsay?.com), which opened in May in one of Los Angeles’ newest hotels, are places to be seen—or not. Four of the five rooms have glass walls, but they also have privacy shades. There, in view of other diners or out of sight, you can enjoy a four- or six-course dinner from the restaurant’s special private-dining menu. The rack of Sonoma County lamb, served with pearl onions and potato puree, is among several of the Scottish chef’s dishes that highlights ingredients from California farms.
