FrontRunners: Frame of Mind

  • The Editors

Jewelry designer David Yurman set his sights on sunglasses with the David Yurman Eyewear collection (www.davidyurman.com), which debuts in November. The line’s Signature Collection offers more than a dozen designs for men, such as $450 black acetate shades with silver accents. "The men’s sunglasses are both subtle and classic in nature," Yurman says, noting that the styles "echo the same aesthetic found in our men’s jewelry and timepieces." rel="nofollow" Limited-edition designs for both sexes feature solid-gold frames, while some women’s frames have diamond pavé. The limited editions are priced from $5,000 to $10,000.
