FrontRunners: Gold Diggers

After more than two years in development, Chopard’s revolutionary new collection, christened Golden Diamonds, has made its debut. Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, an owner of the family business and the creative force behind Chopard’s jewelry (800.CHOPARD, www.chopard.com), forged this new concept, which involves polishing and cutting gold nuggets in the same fashion as diamonds. The result is glamorous and bold jewelry featuring large faceted gold stones that are treated like precious gems.

“It’s fun and exciting jewelry because we are not restricted to the size of any gemstones,” says Gruosi-Scheufele. The Golden Diamonds come in white, yellow, pink, black, and blue gold with colorful genuine diamond and gemstone accents. The unveiling of the new collection coincides with the opening of two new Chopard stores at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
