FrontRunners: Helping Hands

The Editors

British pen maker Conway Stewart recognizes that not everyone employs a laptop when recording thoughts, even when writing for long periods of time. For these traditionalists, the company offers the Conway Stewart Evolution (www.conwaystewart.com), a pen with an adjustable center of gravity that the maker says can reduce hand fatigue and increase handwriting consistency. Earlier this year, the manufacturer released 200 serial-numbered Evolutions, which are made of engraved solid silver and are priced at $2,700 apiece.
