FrontRunners: Lots of Choice

The Naples Winter Wine Festival (www.napleswinefestival.com), a three-day auction held this month in Naples, Fla., to benefit children’s charities, will feature more than wine. In addition to a horizontal of Colgin Cellars’ Tychson Hill Cabernet Sauvignon 2002 and two 18-liter bottles of Paul Jaboulet Aîné Hermitage la Chapelle, the offerings will include a 2007 Rolls-Royce convertible and a walk-on part on the TV show Grey’s Anatomy. Tickets to the event, which starts January 26, cost $7,500 per couple or $20,000 for a party of four. Many of the wine lots are expected to sell for $100,000 to $200,000, while the Rolls-Royce may fetch as much as $1 million.
