The new mocha coffee from Sanani (www.sanani.com)—which the Plano, Texas, company offers through its web site only, at a price of $24 for an 8.8-ounce packet—comes from a mountainous region of Yemen that, at 7,000 feet above sea level, is nearly too cold for cultivating the plant. However, as winemakers well know, an inhospitable growing environment can contribute to superior fruit.
