FrontRunners: Out of the Box

Robert Bastani’s new flagship loudspeaker, the Bastanis Apollo (www.bastanis.com), offers a near-perfect replication of live music with its open-baffle design that quickens transient response and allows notes to disperse naturally. Free of box coloration and crossover distortion, the Apollo supports the theory that the only thing offering better sound than a perfectly designed speaker cabinet is no cabinet at all.
