FrontRunners: Parisi Pied-A-Terre

For those not fortunate enough to call La Jolla, Calif., home, the beachside community’s Hotel Parisi (858.454.1511, www.hotelparisi.com) has added extended-stay apartments to its collection of elegant guest rooms. Just steps away from the beach, the Parisi Apart units feature full-size granite kitchens and baths, and range in size from 420 to more than 2,000 square feet. The privacy and amenities afforded by the apartments make the option of staying a week, several months, or even a year, a comfortable possibility.

Hotel Parisi will customize the extended-stay experience and space—including the furnishings and bathroom fixtures—to fit guests’ specific needs. For a family who resided at Parisi Apart for several months recently, the hotel connected a number of adjacent units to create a homelike space with private bedroom areas and multiple kitchens.

All guests at Parisi Apart, which requires a minimum seven-night stay, have access to the hotel’s services and amenities. Rates for the apartments range from $250 to $525 per evening.
