FrontRunners: Quality Time

  • The Editors

One of the latest creations from German clock maker Matthias Naeschke is a $70,000, 10-pound table clock called L’amour (www.matthias-naeschke.de). The gold- and silver-plated, opulently engraved clock features elements made of ruby, gold, and sterling silver. No doubt L’amour notes the hours and minutes with precision, but while gazing at the timepiece, you could lose all track of the time.
