FrontRunners: Rock Faces

The minimalist Golden Bridge watch line from Corum (www.corum.ch) is exploring its extravagant side. In the new Corum Haute Joaillerie series, a transparent crystal case and sides reveal a sleek, hand-engraved linear movement floating in a sea of jewels. The series includes nine pieces in all, ranging in price from $104,000 to $975,000. One version, pictured here, includes 80 baguette-cut sapphires, while another features the same number of baguette rubies. A princess-cut diamond piece, the collection’s first ladies’ model, is set with 158 gems totaling more than 17.5 carats.
