Diablo Gran Fuego

One might expect a cigar named after the devil to taste radically different from its peers—and Diablo does. Its heady mix of Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Connecticut leaves inside a spicy Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper helps make this cigar one of the most distinctive introductions from the past year. The Diablo box’s bright red pepper appliqué arrests your eye as surely as the cigar’s taste will tease your tongue. The line launches with four variations on the theme: Caliente, Picante, Pimiento, and (pictured here) the 6 x 60 Gran Fuego. ($6 each) www.cigarworld.com
