Cirrus Design cofounder Dale Klapmeier says that when he thinks of the Cirrus SRS sport plane (www.cirrusdesign.com), he envisions children pressed against an airport fence, dreaming about flying. "It will generate that kind of excitement," he says. The piston-driven, fiberglass composite craft, which he expects will achieve 135 mph, should reach customers next year, at a price of about $120,000. "It will be a great toy for a guy on a Saturday afternoon," says Klapmeier. "And his teenagers can fly it too." rel="nofollow"
