Elegant Showcases for Wine, Cocktails, and Cigars

  • Jorge Arango

Progetto50 is a new kitchen collection from Toncelli that includes three tall cabinet styles, each produced in Tuscany by master craftspeople working in the age-old art of wood marquetry. The cigar collector’s cabinet contains a large humidor, with added space for table games and cigar-friendly spirits like Cognac and port. The cocktails cabinet is outfitted with leather-lined shelves for spirits, as well as a mixing set and crystal cocktail glasses (included). The tall wine cabinet conceals a 38-bottle wine cooler, a rack for an additional 48 bottles, eight shelves of variously shaped wine glasses, and a wine-decanter section. All the cabinets are made from combinations of hardwoods that include pear, ebony, and wenge, and part of their enjoyment is discovering and finding uses for a host of secret compartments. The cabinets must be ordered through Italy and shipped; prices are available upon request. (+39.0587.635032, www.toncelli.it)
