Italy’s Finest

Two Italian luxury brands, known for age-old craftsmanship and up-to-the-minute design and technology, have partnered on a new pen. The Tibaldi for Riva limited-edition collection of writing instruments is the result of collaboration between boat maker Riva and Tibaldi, one of Italy’s oldest pen manufacturers. The collection comprises a fountain pen ($3,500) and a rollerball pen ($2,995). Each barrel is crafted from wood, and the cap is coated in the same paint colors—made from a secret formula known only to Riva—as the company’s famed yachts. The stylized clip echoes the shape of the original Riva boats. Just 500 pieces of each style and color (Roman bronze with rose gold-plated trim or navy blue with palladium-plated trim) have been produced. (516.741.0011, www.kenroindustries.com)
