  • Purple turquoise ring from Deborah Pagani

The daring jewelry designs from New York’s Deborah Pagani (www.deborahpagani.com) combine Art Deco–style geometric shapes with colorful, unconventional gemstones. After having sold her jewelry through Hotel Ritz Paris for several years, Pagani began offering her pieces in this country last year. They range in price from $500 to $30,000 and include standouts such as the purple turquoise ring shown here. Pagani also has designed a large pendant necklace with a graphic zebra agate stone and another with a dendrite snowflake agate, a stone that displays a naturally occurring pattern that looks like a snowflake.
