The Embrace ring, one of eight diamond designs in the De Beers Imaginary Nature Collection (www.debeers.com), features an 8.88-carat diamond at the center of a setting that extends around the finger with nearly 500 diamonds. Like the other pieces in the collection, the ring appears remarkably light and airy despite its immense size. Priced from $300,000 to $5 million, the high-jewelry designs are crafted—at the De Beers atelier in Paris—so that they allow the optimum amount of light into the stones.
