Sama Eyewear Launches Buffalo Horn Frames
From the Robb Report Luxury Newswire
Iconic Hollywood favorite Sama Eyewear has introduced a new category of Buffalo Horn frames, the first in a trilogy of limited-release capsule collections. Sheila Vance, designer and founder of the brand, introduces the new Buffalo Horn category of luxury eyewear for Sama’s Fall 2013 collection. Exclusively crafted with water buffalo horn from India, the collection is inspired by beauty, design and function. In addition to its natural color palette and unique patterns, buffalo horn is incredibly lightweight and comfortable.
Each frame is made of natural Indian horn, regarded as one the purest materials available. Carefully handcrafted, polished and assembled, the glasses have classic silhouettes well suited for the individual seeking a one-of-a-kind luxury item that adds to an unparalleled sense of personal style.
The launch of Sama’s new Buffalo Horn frames will feature three styles, two full horn styles and one horn and solid gold combination (which comes in rose, white and yellow gold). Each style is of limited release, with new additions to be introduced seasonally, including platinum and carbon fiber accents. Sun options will also be introduced to the capsule collection for Summer 2014. The frames retail for $850 and $4,300, and will be sold at the Destination: Sama boutique located in the heart of Beverly Hills, as well as fine optical retailers nationwide.
