Graff Diamonds to Showcase Haute Horology at TETAF Maastricht 2014
Graff Diamonds has been involved in TEFAF Maastricht since 2001 and has unveiled some of the most fabulous jewels in the world there. This year Graff will showcase the horological advancements in its luxury watch collection.
A highlight of this collection boasts a world record, the MasterGraff Ultra Flat Tourbillon, an exquisite timepiece that pushes the boundaries of haute horology and design — combining two seemingly incompatible features of fine watchmaking, the desire to create timepieces with minimal thickness and the stunning feat of engineering seen in a flying tourbillon.
The piece features the world’s thinnest flying tourbillon, the Graff Calibre 4 that took over a year for Graff’s expert team to develop. Incorporating a sophisticated minute ball bearing system the movementmeasures just 3.5mm thick — housed within a 6.95mm case.
In addition to this piece, Graff will bring together a significant number of its very finest luxury watches for men and a beautiful collection of jewelled watches for ladies, along with stunning jewellery pieces including intricate necklaces, magnificent cuffs and show stopping rings that Graff is famous for.
Throughout its 50 year history, Graff has handled the world’s most fabulous and treasured gemstones. Some of the stones are centuries old and steeped in myth and history, while others have just been discovered and brought to life in Graff’s own workshops.
