This celebrity-owned Magnum 44 is an extremely rare find.In 2002-2003 Magnum Marine USA entered into an agreement to outsource some of the building of their boats to the Maltese SPA Shipyard in Italy. The hulls were built at the U.S. shipyard and then shipped to Italy for outfitting and interior finishing. This arrangement provided a best-of-both-worlds scenario: strong, well-built good riding hulls and fine, hand-built Italian interiors. In addition, "Martillo" has only 450 hours of use and has been constantly upgraded and maintained to the highest standards. Most recent upgrades include new entertainment equipment, upgraded electronics, new soft goods (interior and exterior), underwater lights, engine room and engines painted.

The owner of "Martillo" would like any potential purchasers to be aware that approximately three (3) years ago, upon haul out for bottom paint and routine maintenance, the yard detected a small hairline crack, approximately six (6) inches long, in the bow of the boat. The owner instructed the yard to repair the crack using the highest marine standards and have the repair inspected and approved by a qualified marine surveyor, which was done. On October 20, 2010 another complete survey was performed for insurance purposes, and the surveyor reported that "there is no sign of structural damage to the hull" and that "the hull appeared to be strong and tight". The survey can be made available upon request.
