Montblanc Debuts a Diva on Rodeo Drive

  • Alexandra Foster

Montblanc unveiled the latest in its Diva Collection, a series of writing instruments named for famous actresses, at the grand opening of its Beverly Hills boutique on Rodeo Drive. The newest Diva pays homage to Ingrid Bergman with the L’Attrice pen ($21,590), which is inspired by Bergman’s time spent living in Italy. Produced in a limited series of 75, the Ingrid Bergman pen features a pearlescent lacquered floral pattern on the barrel and a red-gold nib and cap, which is engraved with Bergman’s signature, and embellished with brilliant-cut diamonds and a small amethyst. The Diva Collection already includes pieces named for Greta Garbo and Marlene Dietrich.

Opened August 4, the boutique exclusively houses the Diva Collection in full, along with other exclusive writing instruments, men’s and women’s watches, fine jewelry, and leather accessories, including Montblanc’s iconic Meisterstück fountain pen, which celebrates its 85th anniversary this year.
