New Lodge at Branson’s Private Game Reserve
Virgin Limited Edition, the collection of lavish retreats privately owned by Sir Richard Branson in secluded locales around the globe, has opened a new lodge on its private game reserve in South Africa. The Cliff Lodge at Ulusaba Private Game Reserve, opened in April, comprises two one-bedroom suites that include private outdoor decks with expansive views of the surrounding African bush. Decorated with African teakwood floors and locally designed artwork and furniture, the two suites can accommodate up to five adults and four children. They feature a shared lounge, swimming pool and spa, and the suites can be separated for individual rental. Also included in the rental are twice-daily private game drives, walking safari, and personal chef.
Other properties in the Virgin Limited Edition portfolio include Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands; Kasbah Tamadot in Morocco; Sa Terra Rotja in Mallorca, Spain; and residence with a roof garden in the Kensington section of London. Rates for the Cliff Lodge at Ulusaba Private Game Reserve start at around $5,000 per night. (www.virginlimitededition.com)
