Pristine Bay Releases First 30 Homes

  • Alexandra Foster

Pristine Bay Resort, a second-home community located on the tropical island of Roatan nearly 35 miles off the coast of Honduras, will finish building its first phase of homes in December. The resort will initially have 30 casitas, each with unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea, along with a Pete and Perry Dye–designed golf course that looks out onto the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef.

At completion the island community will comprise 286 casitas, 186 lots, and 300 to 400 condominiums. Lots start at $230,000 and range up to $700,000, while two-, three-, and four-bedroom villas range from $600,000 to more than $1 million. Condominiums start at $348,000 and range up to $700,000. Five interior-design options are offered for the homes. Residents and guests will also have access to the oceanfront Bay Village at Pristine Bay with boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, and cafés. A 120-room hotel and spa is scheduled to open along with the golf course this winter. (www.pristinebayresort.com)
