Private Preview 2005: Triple Crown

If good things come to those who wait, collectors of complicated Roger Dubuis timepieces should count themselves thrice blessed. In 2005, after two years of development, the Roger Dubuis Grande Complication will be released, and it will be available in three case variations: Sympathie, Golden Square, and Homage (from left to right). In typical Dubuis fashion, each style will be limited to 28 pieces. Unlike a traditional grande complication, which combines a chronograph, minute repeater, and perpetual calendar, Roger Dubuis’ interpretation distinctively unites a perpetual calendar displayed in four windows (day, date, month, and year), a moonphase, a day/night indicator, and a GMT subdial—all specialties of the house that update the grande complication concept with contemporary flair.
