Mercedes-Benz CL 63 AMG

    Essentially an abbreviated version of Mercedes’ flagship S-Class sedan, the CL filters all the performance, prestige, and creature comforts of its four-door sibling into an intimate two-door package. The CL’s styling is characterized by its arched roofline and full sweep of side glass lent by the absence of a B-pillar. In the V-8- coupe realm, the 382 hp CL550 is certainly no slouch. For purists, however, the 518-hp CL63 AMG version truly makes the asphalt shake. For even more power, go for one of the twin-turbo V-12 models—either the over-the-top CL65 AMG with its sinful 738 ft-lbs of torque, or the ever-indulgent CL600. And those concerned with rain, sleet, and snow can drive safely behind the wheel of the all-wheel-drive CL550 4Matic version all year long. Pros: A private and ultra-luxurious two-door bullet train. Cons: Driving modestly is next to impossible.
