40

The Van Dutch 40, launched in September 2009, is an express cruiser with head-turning appeal. The deep hull, big wraparound windshield, and simple boxy transom came from the drawing board of naval architect Frank Mulder, who designs the fastest yachts on the oceans. The Van Dutch 40, which passes 40 knots, is also designed as an excellent day boat, with its huge cockpit able to accommodate a boatload of guests. Owners get to choose among multiple hull colors and floor hues. The lightweight hull is made from composite sandwich construction and reinforced by Kevlar. It has a single stateroom belowdecks.
