Bertram 511

Bertram's 511, launched at the Miami boat show in February 2010, has an edgier look than previous Bertrams, with a sharper forefoot, full wraparound windshield, and wave-piercing hull. But the 511 retains Bertram's tournament-caliber fishing layout and amenities and, of course, its deep-V hull. The three staterooms on the interior have hull-side portholes for natural light, and the salon is large and bright, with light-color cherry cabinets and off-white carpeting and furniture. The boat comes with an optional gyroscopic stabilizer that reduces roll while trolling in big seas. It also has vibration-dampening engine mounts to keep decibel levels to a minimum.
